The Research Institute of Social Science & Management Studies (RISSMS) functions under the Social Science & Management Welfare Association, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The institute was established with the vision of promoting quality research, education, training, innovation, and community-oriented development in the fields of social sciences and management studies.
The parent organization is a registered society with Registration No. 04/14/01/18679/17 dated 23 January 2017, and the institute is also registered with NITI Aayog (NGO Darpan) under Registration No. MP/2022/0303537. Since its establishment, the institute has been committed to creating a strong academic and research-oriented environment that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical social development. The institute actively promotes interdisciplinary research, capacity building, and knowledge dissemination in areas such as education, sustainable development, social welfare, entrepreneurship, public policy, and management studies.
